Yew Tree Antiques are a fledgling Antiques business, based in the Home Counties of England. A company that has lasted for over 30 years must evolve and part of the evolution included a new website to promote events for the company, and also provide an online catalogue for stock.
Yew Tree Antiques have many outlets for their unique stock, not only limited space to display all year-round. Often (especially international) potential customers take a business card from an antiques fair, but were not able to re-view the items they had seen or show the items to others at a later date. All these situations and more meant that a 24-hour/365 day catalogue, which is constantly refreshed with new items through a simple browser-based interface made complete sense.
In 2008, Yew Tree Antiques used ProAction Networks to design and built that site, which continues to evolve. Recently overhauled with a new CMS (Content Management System) and design it goes from strength to strength and thanks to the SEO-optimisation, it regularly features highly on Google and other popular search engines.

1st Rate is an independent company providing domestic, commercial and industrial plumbing and drainage services based in the south of England. They have a team of engineers who are on call 24 hours and carry extensive equipment to sold plumbing and drainage problems.
The 1st Rate website was developed in it's entirety by ProAction Networks, including logo, design and images. The written content was provided by Robert at 1st Rate. Incorporated into the site is simple SEO-friendly front page, filled with the keywords people would be searching for through search engines. Also included is a summary of pricing, contact form (to prevent email spam), list of contact non-geographic freephone phone numbers (also supplied by ProAction Networks) and a postcode checker.
"Our business needed an online presence - for marketing, promotion and so that people could refer back to see exactly what we do, 24 hours a day.
We were referred to ProAction Networks through a business associate who recommended them whole-heartedly. They were quick to acquire the domain names we wanted and setup a simple, effective site. The site had to have a unique 'postcode checker' which ran a check to confirm that our business covers their geographic area, which was included in the basic website price. ProAction also setup 0800 numbers which could easily be re-routed to whoever was on call and so we could tell where the customer had got our number (and which region they wanted).

In the autumn of 2009, we designed a new website for a new Coffee Shop company; The Espresso Lounge. The company was new and budgets were tight - so the website had to come in at a competitive price and in time for the grand opening! The website conforms to the founder's original design specifications and incorporates a bright and bold front page, menu, contact form, locations detail and an evolving gallery section.

Yew Tree Antiques is a small antiques business based in Bedfordshire. Yew Tree Antique’s key requirement was to be able to advertise stock that would otherwise be locked away for 90% of the year. They wanted to do this within an online catalogue, which was built with a friendly administration interface, enabling the owners to logon via their web browser and add/change/delete content within the site instantly.
The website is also used to advertise upcoming events in which their business participates.
The website incorporates a new company logo, rotating slideshow featuring the latest articles and news, a contact form and an online catalogue.
